A chance to visit the UK with a One Young World Scholarship

 Applications are now open for One Young World Scholarships. This scholarship will be given to students aged 18 to 30 years from more than 190 countries of the world including Bangladesh. Under this program called Deloitte One Young World Scholarship, the students will have the opportunity to participate in The One Young World Summit held in Belfast, United Kingdom from September 2 to 5 this year.

This scholarship is for young people with leadership skills who want to take up the challenge of tackling climate change. Apart from this, those who want to increase their education and skills in the country or abroad can also apply for this scholarship.

Whatever will be in the program

     Set a benchmark to make efforts that reduce carbon emissions.

     Reducing the negative impacts of climate change through technology, activism, programs, policies, natural solutions or other efforts.

     Empowering individuals within communities or around the world to take climate action.

     Develop plans and strategies to reduce the impact of climate change-related natural disasters and strengthen resilience


Creating education, skills and employment opportunities for those left behind by the rapidly changing global economy.

     Opportunities to develop skills or learn to prepare for the future workforce, including areas with talent shortages.

     Opportunities to encourage entrepreneurship, create new types of employment or overcome traditional barriers to employment.
 

Facilities

Under this scholarship the students will bear the full cost. These include the opportunity to attend The One Young World Summit in Belfast, UK from 2nd to 5th September this year. Air travel expenses from home country. Hotel accommodation during the conference. Candidate get Catering, breakfast, lunch and dinner during the conference.
qualification

     1. Applicant age should be between 18 to 30 years.

     2. The One Young World Summit to be held in Belfast, United Kingdom from September 2 to 5 this year must have an all-round mindset.

     3. There must be a proven commitment to positive change.


     4. Must have leadership skills.

     5. Must have knowledge of local and global issues.

     6. Must have a track record of developing impactful and innovative solutions to address climate and environmental challenges or education and skills-based challenges.
